I have taken two of my cars to Cabena's Japanese Auto Care and have been 100% happy each time.

The first time, my wife took her Toyota Sequoia into the dealer for an oil change. The dealer said that the upper and lower hoses to the radiator had leaks and needed to be replaced. Since we were not seeing any fluids on the garage floor, we went to Cabena's for a second opinion. Chuck and CJ went through the car, found a small leak in the upper hose and suggested a replacement. Chuck also took the time to explain that Toyota was using an antifreeze that was not great for the hoses and suggested we replace the anti-freeze. He did the repairs (I went ahead and replaced both hoses, flush and replaced the anti-freeze and replace the thermostat all for $200 less than the dealer wanted to replace the two hoses.

Recently I took my 2005 Camry commuter car for a 175,000 service. CJ and Chuck went through the car, found a blown break light I forgot to mention and made reasonable suggestions of what needed to be done on the car. The cost was reasonable and due to my prior experience, I trusted what they said. I will not be back to the dealer service department even for an oil change.

My wife stays home and I work so it is important to us that when we go to a mechanic, we can trust what they say since she usually takes the cars in for service. At Cabena's, I do not worry that they will take advantage of her (or me) when it comes to working on the cars.

I have been a customer of Cabena's for 7 years. This is the best auto repair service company I have found. Whenever I have gone to an auto repair shop (especially at the Toyota dealiship), I have always felt that I was getting ripped off - even if I'm just getting an oil change. It was a totally different experience going to Toyotech. I don't know much about cars, but the owner, Chuck Cabena, always makes me feel I can trust what he is saying.

And he knows exactly what he is talking about. I can describe a problem with my car to him over the phone and he is able to diagnose it over the phone. And his prices are so reasonable.

He only works on Japanese cars - Hondas, Toyotas and Nissans, so if you need any repairs done and want to deal with an honest and reliable mechanic, I would definitely recommend Toyotech.

Let's start off by saying these guys are extremely approachable and professional. They care about your car just as much as you do! Each and every time I come in, they're readily to start and work on my Nissan. Never have they stiffed me on a service. Chuck and CJ do great work on my car. I seriously don't go anywhere else!

I've been going to Cabena's for about 10 years now. Chuck and Cory have been taking care of my Hondas and Toyotas and I couldn't be more pleased. They take the time to explain the repairs and maintenance needed and aren't looking to "up-sell" you on frivolous unnecessary services to line their pockets. If you are looking for an honest, excellent mechanic to service your Japanese car, look no further. These guys are the real deal. It is a small shop that does outstanding work.

I came to Cabena's on the recommendation of two neighbors after a local Honda dealer said I needed a major repair that was well over $1000 and was overwhelmingly pleased with how great Chuck treated me - he even drove me home and came back to pick me up himself. He gave me a much more reliable and fair assessment of the issue I had with my Honda CR-V, not to mention a more reasonable price. I will take my cars to him from now on! A few years ago, a friend referred me to Cabena's to do some work on my 99 Prelude SH. I LOVED that car, and didn't trust her to just anyone. From the first visit to Cabena's way back then, I knew I'd be a customer for life. I can't say enough about the service here...they're meticulous, honest, and make recommendations for service based upon your usage of your car. They now care for my Scion FRS. Their personalized service and their "do it right the first time" attitude will keep me coming back for years to come. I recommend Cabena's for anyone with a Japanese auto.

My husband and I have been going to Cabena's for years now. Recently, Chuck (the owner) went through his records and found where he had accidentally charged my husband twice for a flush job within the same year. He told my husband about it and refunded over $600 back to us. My husband was in awe of Chuck's honesty. He is the most honest mechanic we've ever met and he stands by his work. We trust him with our cars and our lives as that is what you do when you allow someone to work on your means of transportation. We trust him so much that we hesitate to buy non Japanese cars as we do not want to have to find another auto mechanic shop.

Chuck was recommended to us about 2 years ago when we thought our 2000 4Runner was a goner. Chuck and his staff went above and beyond to save us money and to get my vehicle back in operation as soon as possible.

When my husband bought a new vehicle, one reason we chose a Japanese vehicle was so that Cabena's could help take care of it.

This year when our daughter turned 16, we put so much trust in Chuck that we actually let him choose the vehicle that would protect her and be reliable. Of course he chose another 4Runner.

Chuck now takes care of all our vehicles. We literally trust him with our teenage daughter's life!

I first took my Acura to Cabena's about 2 years ago when my starter died. Let me say, I've had my fair share of mechanics both independent and dealers and by far, Cabena's has been excellent. For an independent mechanic I was thrilled to find all the amenities that I became accustomed to; work space, TV, coffee, WIFI. They've been great at diagnosing issues and all their work has been top notch. I've never had an issue with any of their work. They even pointed out an issue with my emissions system and told me that that even though the car was out of it's standard warranty, I could take it to the dealer as it would be covered by a seperate EPA emissions control warranty. If that's not honesty for you I don't know what is. I moved 30 minutes away and I still take my car to them, even for simple oil changes.

I usually don't write reviews, but I would appreciate knowing about this service company before going here or anywhere else. They are fantastic. I didn't pass the emmissions test for a new tag, so needed to get a new fuel tank thingy (that's the technical word, by the way). I was refered to Cabena's by my tire place. This was probably the first time in a LONG time that I didn't feel as though I was getting ripped off on the service or the price. They were able to fix everything and I was able to pass emmissions and get my tag all in the same day. The owner, Chuck, checked on the progress and helped with the repair. Nick made sure I was ok sitting, waiting, watching tv, gave me food, etc. Susan, the office manager, checked on me about every ten minutes. I was updated regularly. After the repairs were done, Chuck took the truck (Nissan Xtrerra) out for a drive to make sure all was well. When he got back, he noticed that the underneath part of the front bumper was sort of hanging there, so he got some tools and fixed it, right then, for free. Amazing. I also have a VW and they gave me the name and number of a place nearby that might be able to do the repair on the bug. Since then, Susan has called to see if everything was ok with the truck (it is!) and thanked me for coming in. THEN I get a TY card in the mail also thanking me for using them and have a nice holiday. Talk about customer service - and I think that it is a business of FOUR people. They know what they are doing - they can help you and fix any Japanese car/truck you may have, and I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I feel great taking my truck there, don't feel hassled or ripped off, and will use them again and again. Glad I found them. As you can see, I can't say enough good things.

I called last week and spoke to Chuck. I explained the situation with my car, that the cam carrier needed to be replaced. The car is 8 years old and he provided me with so much knowledge as to repair or trade it in. Chuck was so honest about what to do with my car and not just trying to convince me to have it repaired. In the future this is where I will get my car repaired.

There is a reason Cabena’s is so highly rated. That’s because an honest, quality, and friendly shop is extremely difficult to find these days. I recently brought my daughters car in because it didn’t pass emissions. When Chuck saw the code that the car was throwing that caused it to not pass, he told me that he had seen this many times before. The car needed a new transmission. I was in doubt and asked him to go ahead and diagnose the vehicle anyway just in case it could be something similar which Chuck agreed to do because there is always a first time for anything. After spending two days on the car and over an hour on the phone with Toyota the car in fact needed a transmission. Chuck gave us options of a low miles used transmission and a Toyota rebuilt transmission. I went with the least expensive route and went for the used. Chuck was able to find a transmission with only 3000 miles on it!! Practically brand new. We went ahead and approved the repair on Monday and all work was completed by Wednesday afternoon. They even filled the gas tank, because they had to drive it so much, and went ahead and got another emissions test done (it passed). I can not say enough good things about Cabenas auto!

Awesome! I was so worried about some other estimates on pricing that I decided to check out this place. They gave me some options rather than putting a lot of money out right away. This is huge that a business has some integrity and honesty. Payment finance options are available via synchrony bank. I managed to work things out with my car and still had money left. I took my 2014 Toyota Avalon to Cabena's after reading other reviews and I can most definitely say they exceeded my hopes and expectations. Chuck and CJ were both extremely friendly and professional along with provided complete and honest repairs to my car. It can be difficult to find an auto repair shop that can be trusted and I feel really happy to have found this one. Their great reviews are very well deserved and I am extremely happy in adding myself to their list of permanent customers.

I was told of Cabena's by a coworker that lived nearby the shop and I also would pass the business on the way to my back doctor, so not totally an inconvenient location for me. I am so pleased that I trusted this well known and respected business to do the work I needed on my car. I’ve found the mechanic to service my new Subaru!! I took a new to me car in today for a used car inspection and I was so pleased with the service!! I was given a same day appointment with friendly and knowledgeable service! Chuck is very helpful and gave my car the go ahead on the purchase with great pointers and FYIs. Good service and good people. Besides taking good care of my car they take good care of me. I had a heavy front door delivered late at night placed on my driveway in a flash flood watch. I couldn't move it and was afraid it would get damaged if I didn't get it in the garage. The people that sold it to me and the delivery company would not help. Chuck heard my conversation and he and Andrew came over to my house and moved it. I was so relieved. They went above and beyond, which is who they are. I am a customer for life. Thank you Cabena's.
